Multiversal Conquest
Basically, this will be a real-time strategic competition involving all players at once. The setting will be a galaxy filled with planets from various fictional sources. These planets will be inhabited, and there will be existing factions at play from the planets' home universe. For example, the Star Wars section of the galaxy will play host to the struggle between the Rebellion and the Empire.
This is where you come in. As a participant, you will start out on a planet of your choosing, with nothing to your name but a small amount of currency to start you off. Each planet will have a variety of units available for purchase with which to build your military. Not only will this involve ships, but ground units as well. Units will no longer be shoehorned into certain classes, but be individually priced based on their own unique stats and abilities.
You will receive a base daily income, augmented by various holdings you may come to acquire. You may also earn money by doing jobs for other factions (player or otherwise) or stealing money from the same.
You are free to interact with player and NPC factions, whether this means hiring one another, fighting one another, or allying with one another. NPC factions from different universes may also interact. For example, the UNSC may convince the Imperium of Man to assist them against the Covenant. If given enough time, factions may even wipe each other out.
I will not actively be taking part. I will be a Judge. Judges will be in charge of deciding what happens between NPC factions and how they react to player actions, as well as moderating battles. I will need the help of several other Judges to effectively run this, so if anyone is interested, I'll need some volunteers.
