SW: The Nerds Awaken
With the release of the new movie the nerds are awakening. They are demanding more nerdery based upon Star Wars and I will answer that call!
System: WEG D6 Star Wars (mostly second but any edition really)
Setting: The setting will most likely be some place/time directly related to the movie, (right before/during/afterwards.) We won't know until we see it!
Plot/Theme: This is also unknown at this point, I'm planning on taking many ideas from the films for settings, plots and more. I also want the players to enjoy the game so a good chunk of the plot will come from their input and ideas.
In other words these two bits of info will be more concrete in one week but you may count on space battles, giant monsters, silly droids, the lure of the dark side, speeder chases and everything else that makes Star Wars incredible!
Players sought: Any one who loves Star Wars. Ideally players will post a few times a week and be able to deal with any conflict that arises in a mature way, (just in case drama occurs.) I'm looking for a fun romp through the galaxy and people who have that light hearted fun in mind.
GM: GM will be me but if the game gets really big I'll recruit assistance. I prefer fun/ease of play over rules and so sometimes play may deviate from what's written in the books. I'll always be open and upfront about any of that and I'm very comfortable with feedback to make the game experience enjoyable by all.
