Game Description

In the remote reaches of the Sea of Beasts lies the continent of Phtulnis, a land forsaken by even the gods. A dark and mysterious land, much of it remains uncharted and unexplored, even by its native inhabitants. It is a harsh land that is filled with rough savannas, vast impenetrable jungles, unforgiving deserts, and treacherous seas. Legends are abound of ancient forgotten treasures that lay waiting within the ruins that dot the landscape of the continent, and these legends have drawn all kinds of interest from across the seas.

From the three continents of Naysur, Faeryn, and Dinethos, a league of different guilds, organizations, and gold-seeking individuals have formed the pseudo-state of the Free Coalition. The Coalition has been attempting to explore the lands for the last two hundred years, but they have made little progress. Violent tribes that practice strange occult rituals will often seek out explorers as sacrifices to their gods, giant beasts that hunger for the new scent of foreign flesh roam the savannas, and even the land itself seems to resist any attempt to conquer it.

However, despite all of this the Coalition keeps at it. They have declared that by the end of the century, a fully detailed map of the continent shall be made. All of the nations south of the Malnahta basin have taken this as a declaration of war, and have thus declared that any foreigner that attempts to set foot in their lands shall breathe their last. With three nations already in an unofficial state of war with the Coalition, things are looking grim for the future of the expedition of Phtulnis.

But in the jungle, ancient ruins echo with the insane laughter of tribal cultists as they seek out new sacrifices...

And in the Wastes of Khalest, the sands shift as a primal fear reawakens...

And in the Sea of Beasts, terrible beasts creep from the inky depths, hungering for the great ships from above...
