Necromancer's Pact
Background:
No frills. No gimmicks. Just good old-fashioned basic roleplaying using the core D&D 4E ruleset. Be a part of a PbP campaign that has been running continuously since December 2004.
Game Setting:
Homebrew setting. Standard 4E core assumptions about the world. Regional maps available in the NP Campaign Setting thread.
Game Explanation:
A new chapter in an old campaign ... This is an ongoing 4E campaign in which the characters will play a critical role in defeating an ancient evil from another world. Roleplaying and lively character interactions are encouraged, though a good grasp of 4E game mechanics and tactical thinking will also be rewarded.
Application Process:
Please post in this thread if interested. Applications should include a brief player introduction. (A completed character sheet isn't needed to apply.) Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
Character Creation:
Characters will start at level 3 (heroic tier). Use the standard array for ability scores (16, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10). Lawful Good, Good, and Unaligned characters only please.
Any additional information or requirements:
Access to the PH1 and PH2 is assumed. Other sourcebooks are not currently allowed. Desired posting rate for the campaign is 1 post per player per day.
