The Spirits Within
Based on the 2001 film Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. While based on the movie it may not follow the story line exactly, I am implementing a few little twists to allow players more variety.
It is 2065 A.D. and mankind is under siege by alien spirits and faces extinction. Mankind have found refuge in great barrier cities that shield them from the phantoms. But the phantoms are not the only threat, rogue elements that would not conform to the new system of government of the barrier cities are terrorizing the barrier cities. While the phantoms originate from the meteor that struck Earth decades ago these Renegades are using abandoned barrier cities as their bases.
