The Unseen Blade
For almost a century the Kingdoms of Draugnah and Frooche had lived in peace; trading and prospering together. About 50 years ago Draugnah, to the south, began to pressure Frooche to give up slavery, to which the northern nation just ignored the pressuring. Tensions increased over the years with trade stopping and new fortifications being built upon the border, until about fifteen years ago when a Frooche merchant ship was sunk with a Draugnah boat being blamed. Frooche retaliated with invading to the south demanding payment in for the capital lost. No nation has gained the advantage with the battle lines shifting this way and that, however five years ago Meeshe the Bold, military advisor to the king of Draugnah, believed he had the answer; a specialized force that can act not only as a deadly fist but also as a symbol for his forces to look to and their enemies to fear, thus the Unseen Blade was created and began to train. This was an elite group of soldiers trained in stealth who strike behind enemy lines and before any hint of an attack is given. So what say you do you think you have the pride, determination, skill, and patience to become one of the Unseen Blade… We will see.
This is to be a stealth based game where the PCs are an elite squad who strike out behind enemy lines to hinder their enemies’ actions. This is a game where there will be a lot of battles and skill challenges but where roleplaying is an incredibly important part due to the GM’s magical ability to grant bonuses at his whim when they see like what they see.
