Perhaps the Infinite dragonflight finally succeeded on their attempts to assault the Caverns of Time. Perhaps this is merely an alternate reality, or a portrait conjured by some magister of how things could have been.

This is not your guildmaster's Azeroth.
Welcome to Dark Azeroth, a Pathfinder game set in an alternate reality based on Blizzard's Warcraft franchise. In this world, several key historical events have been changed that have created an entirely different sort of world.
This is not like World of Warcraft. The tone and mood are much more like that portrayed in Warcraft 3, as well as the Warcraft comics and novels. This is not the Azeroth where Stormwind is the size of a postage stamp and pop culture references are common. This is a living, breathing Azeroth full of swords, death, sweat, mud and of course war. In my opinion, it's Azeroth as it should be.
