For many a millennia the God-Emperor has rested upon his gilded throne, ruling with a diligent fist. His life has been dedicated to the preservation of humanity, expanding the borders of his grand empire into the darkest reaches of the traverse. But in his trials and tribulations, he has blinded himself to the things beyond his kingdom. He has realized not the folly of stepping into worlds unknown and claiming them, the force of his powerful fleets bearing down the throats of any inhabitants found.

It was only a matter of time before one resisted...

--Day 4, Captain's Log:
Moderate discoveries. All of the planets are completely barren, all resources apparently burned off in some of the ancient factories we've explored. The people here were highly industrial and far ahead of their time; carbon dating places these ruins in the 722.28K region, yet they were employing large-scale las-beam energy extraction. Will update upon new finds.
--Day 11, Captain's Log:
What a run in we had today! We came across large blast doors in one of the larger facilities and decided to go through. Took us two days to repair the systems enough to hack past the security measures, but it was time well spent. Behind the doors was a vast expanse of laboratory equipment. We were heading deeper and deeper into the labs when shots were heard. Investigation found a small group of tiny Servitors, quite unlike any other. The heads were actually alive! We captured a few and sent them to our on-ship scientists, where we are awaiting results. Perhaps some kind of biodendrites? Will report once scientists finish their examination.
--Day 13, Captain's Log:
This is Captain Haggart D. Loghain, sending out for help! This morning at 0300 hours a massive vessel came across our radar, approaching fast...*static*... We didn't even have time to react before they rammed us, immediately boarding. They hit the science lab first, then...*static*...our cameras went down, and soon the ship mind corrupted. I've sealed what's left of my crew in the brig, but these... behemoths... they're ripping through the steel. Rhea, our Astropath, is sending my log across the void. If you pick this up, please pass it on to the Imperial Guard! We need assistance!
