Game Description

"Only a Sith deals in absolutes"
- Obi-Wan Kenobi

Jaden Korr. A fateful name, a name that has come to mean death and destruction, and a name that strikes fear into the hearts of jedi and regular people alike. Once a brilliant student and a promising Jedi knight, this female Twi'Lek sealed her fate when she cut down her fellow apprentice, Rosh Penin, and betrayed the Jedi order, eventually becoming the most powerful Sith knight in her time. From her flagship, the Midnight Sun, she gathered the last remnants of the old empire as well as the remaining Reborn under her command and recreated the Sith tradition, the way it was before Darth Bane, before the Rule of Two. But still it was different - the Law of One came to be the new rule, though this was a natural transition and not a conscious choice of Lady Korr; an order brought about by her power, towering above all others'. When Kyle Katarn came after her, she slew him in cold blood, and for a long time she remained unchallenged, as she oversaw the training of a whole new generation of Sith and hid them from the attention of the New Republic. It was a silent arms race, as the Jedi and Sith both collected and trained as many force sensitive youths as they could, until either side possessed a force worthy of being called an army; between the two, any enemies (to the Jedi) and rivals (to the Sith) that might have otherwise arisen, were either vanquished or assimilated before long, leaving the opposing forces with what in the end amounted to a level playing field.

However, in the two dozen years that have passed since the annihilation of the Disciples of Ragnos at the hands of Lady Korr herself, not a single dark Jedi has risen with the power to contend with Lady Korr, and no Jedi knights have shown to possess talents even close to those of Luke Skywalker, who still leads the Academy in training new knights. Appalled at this development, each of those two masters of the force, unbeknown to the other, took a group of personal apprentices, their own wards upon whom they would directly bestow their wisdom and skill in the hopes of raising the level of competence within their ranks. The experiment worked, to a point, but where Luke was content to employ his padawans as protectors and peacekeepers, Korr planned a more... direct approach.

You are the protegees of Korr, you have finished your basic training with excellent results and you have been given a mission - to seek out the strong and kill them, to tip the scales in favour of the Dark Side, to weed out the pitiful Jedi knights that spread their weak and soft teachings across the galaxy. Go, you are, to bring pain, suffering and strength the countless worlds, and pave the way for the New Sith Order, that the Force may feed and grow mighty off the conflict. You have the opportunity and freedom to grow your own power, and you have been warned not to return before each of you is a master. "Nor are you to return", your master added, "before you have the power to kill me".

Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.

Such is the law you shall bring to the Galaxy, to liberate it from the weakness of this uneasy peace. For the sins of your generation, and from the growing weakness of your age, you shall seek... Absolution.
