The City is loosely inspired by Byzantium, a huge City-State which in terms of population and variety far outstrips all surrounding countries and cities. Adventures within The City are sol-threaded, although people can (and often do) bump into each other, teaming up for a short time before going their separate ways.Fairly high fantasy, with bits of grittiness
