You will all be part of the same team of characters working for the cause of Good. You are friends, at least with some in the group and on friendly terms with the rest, so it means that you won't backstab each other and so on.
You will also behave mercifully towards commoners and so on, functioning as a good group
This doesn't mean that you can't play evil. But it has to be a sophisticated evil of using any means to reach the goal, not a stupid - let's kill everybody - kind of evil.
The classic dark knight comes to mind here
