The Cycle Continues
Every Twenty years or so, a new breed of Hero/villian comes along. They battle it out, mostly breaking even in numbers of wins. 100 years ago the Legion was on top, battling the Shadow Legion. One of the legion went mad and killed many of the heroes and the villians. Twenty years later, the few remaining heroes were pulled back into the light by the new wave. This group fought against a very powerful Shadow Legion, and were driven back into obsurity. The next cycle brought a new wave of hero that fought in the shadows and broke the power of the shadow legion. Twenty years later the Shadow Legion finally shattered into dust. The last of the Legionaires faded into the shadow and disappeared.
Today the police have started to notice a crime wave that is similar to the Shadow Legion's methods. They turned their investigators loose and found nothing. The crime wave continues and the cry goes out for the heroes that will be able to stop the Shadow from growing.
This having been said, there are two sides to every coin. Those who dwell in the shadows of the law know the Shadow King has returned, and he is not happy.
The game is going to be a 2000 point supers game in GURPS. -150 points in disadvantages this includes 5 quirks.
