Game Description

Non Omnis Moriar
Not All Of Me Shall Die

Non Omnis Moriar takes place in the city of industry, The Arsenal of Democracy: Detroit. Here a half dead city tries to pull itself up from a crashed economy, failing schools and jobs going overseas. Rot and decay have taken root in a city once known for paving the way for the future. Renaissance plans by the government to try and turn the city back into something recognizable never seem to take off, gaunt faces stare through smudged windows in burned out projects while the laughing rich throw their parties in ivory towers of decadence. Gangs rule the streets and families with blood feuds hire guns to make sure competition is eliminated.

Inside the rusting city strange things bloom in the squalor. Machines inspired by fevered dreams run in factories long since closed down. Kids offer their wrists to ancient monsters. A mother barters away her child's voice to ensure she has enough cocaine to last the next month or two. On Sutton street it is required to carve your name into a brick wall with an iron nail on every birthday you have starting after the tenth or The Sutton Smiler will get you.

It is in this dark city, this working city, your characters plot, strive, try to live in and might die in.

-----------

In this game the players will be Mortal or Vampire. Each will interact in their own separate sub-forms. That is to say, the vampires will have a forum and the mortals their own. Their is a possibility that the two may meet, but if they do they will look like an NPC on the other template's forum. So a human PC might interact with a Vampire one, but they will not know it.

-----------

To roll dice you click the little icon in a post window that looks like a little die, it will ask for a name for your action, then you type in the amount of d10 in the pool along with two other things. For example 2d10s8e the s8 means that anything above eight counts as a success and the e means it will re-roll if any of the dice comes up as 10. There will be very rare situations where the max isn't re-rolled. Whether or not ones will subtract I have not decided.
