Game Description

"The Year is 2013 and we are in the midst of the Greatest War. Some people call it the Third World War, or World War Three, but I disagree with that because that suggests that there will be another. Let me tell you this gents, there won't ever be another war after this one." ~ Major James Miller, KIA.

The Libyan revolution of 2011 was widely considered to be the moment when the world came crashing down on our heads. Sure, we were warned to not intervene. But how could we just stand by and watch the massacre of civilians? Egypt, the Ivory Coast... they went far more smoothly, but the Libyans. That was a tough battle. Thousands killed, a lot of those were Brits or French. A full military operation began to rid the country of Gadaffi. But we soon found out that we were letting in a far worse power. It had been his game all along, he and Gadaffi had started the revolution to weed out the dissidents, but it all turned South on Gadaffi. Osama bin Laden came to the throne.

His troops had now been given Western weaponry. Modern, advanced and intimidating. Immediately a war of terror was launched on all of the western states. A hundred thousand people were killed in 2012 by terror attacks. The worst was the Hamburg incident. Poor Germany, they didn't even join in with the Libyan conflict. Eventually all of the Arab states were forced to join together by Al Qaeda. Israel was just absorbed. Oh, they put a hell of a fight. Even a small nuclear exchange. But they were just absorbed by the Arab megastate. They joined under the United banner of 'The Fertile Lands of Allah.' Fertile lands, yeah, right.

They worked half of their civilians to death and slaughtered those that complained. That's when the rest of the world decided that it was time to intervene. When we looked at the figures, with China joining in and all, we thought that we couldn't possibly lose. There was something like eight million men ready to fight for the freedom of the Arabs. But when we got in there we realised that we couldn't sustain an effort like that. Half of the men were called back within six months. But there was something else, something was really wrong.

Everywhere we went it was like a ghost town - there would only be three or four families in an entire village, they said that they farmed all the land and sent their produce onto Baghdad. We thought at first that bin Laden had slaughtered them all, but it was so... clean...

Then we got taken, and now here we are in the POW camp. Allah Shines on the Brave. Great.
