The Dark Sun Incident
The ship drops out of hyperspace right in the middle of the system. you can't see anything through the screen, but the ships sensors light it up. Eight planets, all orbiting a star, Sien. Sien is what makes this system to special, the star is black, giving off no visible light, and bathes the entire system in radiation. It makes colonization difficult, something the pirates, and the DArk Sun Mercenaries, have used to their advantage.
