All is not well in the shire of Dovedale.
Sure, lizard men occasionally sneak out of the Mistwood to raid caravans on the West Road, and Lady Halastria has a few suitors who are a touch too passionate, but there's nothing going on that a Shire Warden can't handle.
Except that the Dovedale River has vanished without a trace and plants are dying. Except that the Queen of the Silver Glade, a place where no mortal dares to go without fearing for his life, is asking the Wardens for help. Except that the Diamond Keep has fallen to a band of ruthless orcs. Except that a recent earthquake has unearthed long-lost ruins from the Second Age.
Suddenly, being a Warden isn't quite as easy as it used to be...
