The Horrible Secret of Monhegan Island
Roger Matrinson, a local town leader, has hired you to conduct a murder investigation on Monhegan Island, Massachusetts. A 16 year old girl by the name of Sara Goodwin, a local of Bristol, went missing on June 2nd of '24. Her parents reported her missing the next day - poor thing never did make it home. An inspector from the Maine State Police came out and found some of her clothing washed up on the beach. The police concluded the girl was a drowning victim and closed the case.
Martinson, however, is convinced it was murder. He has instructed his butler, Alan Krebbs, to find some Private Investigators to find out what really happened. Martinson has offered to pay $30 a day plus expenses for the investigative talents. He has also offered lodging in his home.
