The Awakened World has always been a dangerous place, but in the year following Dunkelzahn's assassination, things have gotten very bad. At first, things were pretty good for shadowrunners... lots of opportunities to make some nuyen. But now... You just know things have gone too far when the Yakuza are approving the bombing of school buses to get close enough to a Mafia underboss. The mobs have been at it for a year now. The corps are jockeying for position and some are still reeling from the effects of Dunkelzahn's Will. But it's the little guy that is getting ground under foot. Sometimes they need a little help... sometimes they need a little Divine Intervention.
