New Relic City, you've lived there as long as you can remember. It's never bothered you that you don't even know what state you live in. It doesn't bother you that even though it's a large city, you see the same people day to day, no new faces. It's never bothered you, that in any map you've ever looked at you've never seen the city... anywhere. Nothing about the fact that New Relic City just doesn't make sense has ever bothered you in the least... Until last week.
Last week, something happened. They came for you. The secret society that governs New Relic City. Maybe you were chosen for a purpose. Maybe it was an act of passion. Perhaps it was punishment. It may have even been a random act. The fact remains, you are no longer among the living. You are on of the five clans of vampires that stalks the night. After that night, it suddenly dawned on you that your entire life has been one compliant blur. You've been happy with what you've had, you've never questioned a single moment of your life. Now that you're awake, it's like a veil has been lifted from your eyes.
At first you thought the elders may have done this to the population, but as the nights press on it becomes clear that they are just as confused about the matter as you are. Now comes the night that you've been summoned before the Prince for the time. Rumor has it that he has an important mission for the Neonates of the City.
