Accelerated Evolution
As you awaken, you have one memory, one precious strand of knowledge to hang on to, the All-Father. He has created you, shaped you and given you one task, the destruction and death of Bael, Lord of the First. The All-Fathers bearded face looms over you even now, so fresh in your memory you can smell the ale on his breath, "Go. Into the world. Survive. Thrive. Avenge.". The voice was deep and booming, filled with the accents of a thousand languages. The world goes black. Then you open your eyes. It is perfectly dark. Your arms and legs burn as blood surges into them. You are wrapped in cloth, bound but not so tightly as you cannot escape. It would take minutes, but soon you would be free to follow your orders, to kill the Devil-Lord.
