Kingmaker
Nestled between the Kingdom of Brevoy and the mercurial states that make up the River Kingdoms sits the Greenbelt commonly referred to as the Stolen Lands. Filled with all kinds of dangerous things, the Stolen Lands have often acted as a buffer between the Swordlords of Restov and the Swordlord of Mivon and most people would happily have let this remain the case.
With the political situation in Brevoy become ever more tense, the Swordlords of Restov have chartered several groups of explorers and sent them south into the Stolen Lands hoping that they can create colonizes that can be called upon by Restov should they ever be needed.
For the short sighted explorer this offers an opportunity to gain riches, power and to forge a nation under your own rule. But those adventurers who are more cautious can the political minefield that they are about to wander in to.
This Campaign will follow the Kingmaker Campaign but will be have several additions placed in. While the game will have elements of exploration and combat, I also hope to add in a strong political aspect, where the rulers of the Kingdoms must carve out a nation and forge alliances and make enemies. As a result of this, hex-crawling will me minimized.
