A caravan going through dangerous territory, rival gangs coming to head, an old feud threatening the fragile peace, an evil wizard who has kidnapped the beautiful princess, a greater dragon reigning fire down upon the country side, an evil cult summoning dark demons, a corrupt politician making a dangerous new bid for power, a tyrannical dictator with ambitions for world domination, strange visitors from beyond the stars, a prophesy of cataclysmal proportions coming to pass, and an ancient god resurrecting to claim their rightful throne.
None of these things are happening. In fact, nothing seems to be wrong with the world. Things just aren't as bad as they used to be. Societies of all races and cultures seem to be enjoying an unprecedented era of peace and prosperity, and there's doesn't seem to be any crazy fool trying to mess things up... yet.
