Sublime Chosen
Magic. Stories say that once the world was full of magic. Wizards regularly bent the laws of the world at their whim, priests brought back souls from the dead, druids commanded the magic inherent in all living things. Psions wielded incredible powers of the mind, and much more.
But, no more. No one knows how it happened. No one knows why it happened. But it happened.
The Cataclysm. It absorbed all the magic in the world. Those who were once masters of their domains became helpless. And those of us that didn't depend nearly so much on magic thrived. We who are powerful warriors that practiced the Sublime Way now do what those wizards and priests and psions used to do: we kept the savage world around us from harming the civilian populace. Now, we are the masters.
