NightFall
A week ago the Sun failed to rise over Khorvaire leaving the world in darkness. As the sun failed to rise on the second and third days the people began to panic. The druid sects claim it is an attack on their forests, the followers of the Sovereign Host claimed it was an attack by the Dark Six, most people just feared the world was ending and didnt care how. Lines of torches and other lights started to appear on the roads as people were flooding to the lights and safety of Sharn.
As the people piled into the city so did the stories of attacks by beast like creatures on the smaller villages. Some claimed it was werewolves, others said they were like nothing they had seen before, and some claimed it was groups of shifters. This was leading to issues with the shifters in Sharn and even a few attacks on random shifters in the street had been broken up before anyone had been hurt. Because of this Shifters have taken to moving in groups or not at all for safety.
Other reports of people missing and strangers lurking around the larger towns were also being reported. When these people are seen they are said to disappear into thin air. These sightings are often paired with the disappearance of one or more people. Many of whom were locked in their homes with their families and no one saw or heard a thing. Because of this even people from the larger towns had started to seek the safety of Sharn.
Posters started going up today asking for adventurers to go out to each of the closest villages and towns to find out what is really going on and report back. All who are interested are to meet up at the Sword Point Garrison later today.
