This D&D 5E adventure takes 4-5 characters of 1st level, and brings them to 3rd level by its conclusion.
Title: The Sunless Citadel
System: Dungeons & Dragons, 5th Edition
Setting: Homebrew
Expected Individual Post Rate: 3-5 Posts per Week.
Themes:
Dark: The feel and environment will be dark and brooding. This won't be a sunny day in the park.
Sword & Sorcery: Think medieval, mixed with magic.
High Fantasy: Elves, dwarves, necromancers. This is the level of LOTR.
Exploration: This will mostly involve a traditional Dungeon Crawl.
Combat: There will be fighting. If you're not for stealthing and negotiating, expect a lot of fighting.
Roleplaying: I love RP, and I will give a lot of chances for this.
Potential Continuation: If this adventure is concluded successfully, I'm planning to run the Curse of Strahd adventure as a more-ambitious next step. Players/Characters who survive this adventure can continue their stories in that adventure, bringing along any equipment and treasures they've acquired.
About TheGreyWulf
Been playing D&D and tabletop RPG's since the 90's.
I've played all editions of D&D from 3rd Edition to present.
Ran a handful of D&D adventures on tabletop.
Most of them are homebrew, but I've run a couple of published adventures.
First game to run from scratch on MW.
I've rescued an ongoing game here in MW, but this is the first time I'm creating a game from the very start. I will be learning the ropes of navigating the Weave as GM, but you won't have to worry about me keeping up with the game itself.
Committed to post rate.
I have steady work, with a fixed schedule. I can maintain my indicated post rate for the game. I can also anticipate any break in my schedule (e.g. annual leave, an off-site visit) and give the group notification in advance.
UTC + 4 Time Zone.
I'm in Dubai. Just in case you'd like to know.
Noob-friendly and forgiving GM.
I'll let you rollback on actions that don't make sense, and I'll find a way to make your creative ideas work within the bounds of reason and the game. If you have something you'd like your character to try, run it by me and we'll see how we can make it work.
