Freeform Forgotton Realms RP
Come one and come all to the greatest realm of Toril, Faerun! The year is 1358 DR, and Faerun is enveloped in the conflict that is the Time of Troubles. What will your character do in this time? Will you join up with others, leveling through years of adventuring to take on an evil god? Or will you personally crusade to slay evil (or good!) dragons? It is up to you!
This 'campaign' per say is actually going to be the beginning of a living world, set in 3.5e Faerun. As a living world, each of your characters actions will fully influence others, and your interactions may be met with conflict from others.
There are very few rules with this idea. Character creation will be done using a 3.5e 25-point buy (calculators can be found all over the internet), and almost all classes and races from all books (even third party) are available. If it is third party, check with me if it is okay. Homebrew is allowed, but must be approved by myself if I am to run a session with you involved. Otherwise, go nuts! Be a monk-rogue-paladin-wizard!
Each character will level independently if they so choose to do so, or join together in a group to find their goal. Each character should have in depth ambitions, goals, or personal achievements that they want to accomplish, no matter what they may be or how grand they may seem.
In this vein, I am looking for both players and DMs to start something great. For a DM, they will be assigned players (of course, up to the player's choice and their DM's availability) to take care of, and it is on a voluntary basis.

In free-form RP, there are no overarching storylines pre-written, and it is up to your character to have and accomplish their own goals by merit of what they do and how they do it. That being said, there will be plenty of quests and jobs (and, of course, loot) if you so choose to look for some.
Fulfilling the laws of Myth-Weavers, those who come through these lands may feel free to post adventure logs. In addition, this site will be the de facto place for hosting character sheets.
