A deadly storm strands the passengers and crew of the Passepartout on the Fangs, a chain of islands on the border of the Great Storm. If they're to have any hope of escaping the notorious ship graveyard, the survivors will need to band together to outwit the island's dangerous beasts and fearsome rulers, the serpentfolk.
But can the castaways unite in time, as the islands many legends seem to be more truth than myth?
And what secrets do the serpentfolk hide at the heart of their jungle empire?
