Special Unit 666 was founded in 1776 as a secret weapon against British Forces during the Revolutionary War. Lead by Cole Priest, Special Unit 666 was composed of paranormal beings loyal to the revolutionaries, under the name "Monsters of the New World" The unit was disbanded in 1779. The unit was reformed in 1861, this time as a paranormal covert ops group operating in the deep south. It was once again disbanded in 1866. In 1917, Special Unit 666 was again reformed as a paranormal commando group. Special Unit 666 was a key part in the US victory in World War 2 and the Vietnam War. However, due to violations of human rights performed in Vietnam, the unit was shut down and the Gorebacker Act was put into place.
The UN, in response to the rising number of terrorist attacks, is now reforming Special Unit 666. Due to their past experience with the unit, the United States Military has been put in charge of the unit.
