Overgrowth
A darkness has crept over the kingdom of Myr. The past few years has experienced creeping of nature. The tree line crawls towards city walls even after being cut back during the winter. Every spring the forests and jungles grow further out and taller and during the winter they do not recede as they once did. The central castle of Northhorne has lost much of it's power to aid the realm with their once massive highway roads being blocked by the massive invasion of nature itself.
The beasts have grown feral and aggressive and many of the tribes of orcs and elves, among other races, that live in the forests and jungles have become increasingly superstitious and aggressive toward any who claim to be part of the kingdom. With the desperate situation growing more dire each season the King finally employs a group of adventurers after the loss contact with a border trading town of Hurdain.
