Space pirates, nanoswarms, and fallen godlike AIs await you in the criminal underworld of Eclipse Phase. Take the role of a criminal operative working for a shady organization that deals in forbidden technology while trying to figure out what nefarious goals your employers have. Set in a post-apocalyptic transhuman future using Eclipse Phase Second Edition rules, this criminal campaign is looking for another player to hop into an existing team for the third mission (and potentially beyond), where they are passing through a pandora gate to exploit a nonhuman star system. No prior knowledge of the system is necessary if you are willing to learn!

The Egocrashers are a small organization in the solar system's underworld that are primarily involved in the theft, sale, development, and trafficking of dangerous and forbidden weapons and technologies. They are known among transhumanity's criminal elements for hiring individuals with unique backgrounds to undertake dangerous jobs that pay very highly.

Firewall is a larger secret organization dedicated to protecting humanity from existential risks (X-risks)... including the Egocrashers.

You are a sentinel (i.e., secret agent) working with Firewall to uncover the secrets of the Egocrashers. To this end, you have infiltrated the Egocrashers and obtained notable standing with them. Firewall's schemes are now coming to a head: the Egocrashers are launching a special mission through a secret, privately owned pandora gate (i.e., a stargate). Specifically, they want you to deliver a highly complex nanotechnological payload to an alien computer system at the heart of a frozen planet to render the planet exploitable. You have managed to be invited by the Egocrashers to join this mission.

Firewall wants you to learn as much as you can about the organization and its operations on the other side of the pandora gate and report back or, if necessary, sabotage your criminal employers.

System: Eclipse Phase, Second Edition (free rules available here). No prior familiarity with the system required! The system is fairly crunchy, but I am willing to help you learn.

Posting Frequency: Once per week. This is a very slow-paced game.
