Description
Across the infinite expanse of the cosmos, few spheres glimmer with the same predatory brilliance as Lustra. It is a world of crystalline vistas and permanent twilight, where the air itself hums with the static of raw, unrefined mana. To the distant observer, it is a jewel in the dark; to those who set foot upon its iridescent soil, it is a land of intoxicating beauty and lethal ambition.
A Realm of Radiant Diversity
Lustra is not a singular landscape, but a chaotic mosaic of environments that defy the standard laws of nature.
-
The Prism Forests: Woods where the trees are composed of living glass, filtering the dim light into blinding spectrums that can burn the eyes of the unwary.
-
The Mercury Seas: Vast, heavy oceans of liquid metal that hide sunken empires and treasures that have never known rust.
-
The Shattered Peaks: Floating mountain ranges held aloft by gravity-defying ore, home to citadels that look down upon the clouds.
The Promise of Power
The world acts as a beacon, its very atmosphere whispering of wealth beyond measure. Rare gemstones that pulse with the rhythm of a heartbeat and veins of "Star-Iron" draw the greedy and the desperate from every corner of the multiverse. Here, power is not just earned; it is extracted, forged, and seized.
In Lustra, the "common" is non-existent. A single successful delve into an umbral vault can elevate a beggar to a merchant-prince, and a drop of the world’s shimmering essence can grant a sorcerer enough V-Force to level a city.
The Hero’s Mandate
But Lustra is no sanctuary. It is a predatory paradise that demands a blood-tax for its riches. The world beckons to the bold—the warriors, the outcasts, and the visionaries—promising that anyone with enough steel in their heart can carve out a legacy.
Whether you seek to command the high-altitude trade routes, master the shifting arcane tides, or simply fill your coffers with the world's glowing spoils, Lustra waits. It offers everything you have ever desired, provided you are strong enough to keep it.
Expectations
I'm a DnD Dungeon Master with almost 30 years experience who has been out of the game few a couple of years and eager to return. I have a slew of campaigns lined up but wish to create an ongoing universe and story arc, giving players the opportunity to build characters and transition them seamlessly into future games all the while running the risk of watching them fall in battle and adding them to the Lustra Hall of Heroes.
What I offer you is consistency and reliability, a turn per day, a great deal of effort put in to each and every element, my promise to you that the campaign will not simply cease as I fall off the face of the earth (A sad regular event with DM's and players), a good time, a challenge and with no rigged dice whether in your favour to keep you happy or against it to screw your beloved characters.
My expectations are a daily post, in neutral areas and hubs this is less important though their existence is often to give you a chance to improve yourself so if you snooze you may well indeed lose. If you do not post then your character will go into auto-pilot, during this their stats take a hit and they will do little more than default attacks and defence therefore not bringing much to the table and letting their allies down greatly.
As soon as a campaign ends, a new one will begin no more than a week later. I believe in keeping the ball rolling and roll the ball shall.
What's next?
Being new to Myth Weavers please take this as a "Feeler" at this stage. More information will become available, rules, classes, races, initial campaign plot once I get a feel for the site, the logistics and I see some interest. If you have any questions please fire them my way, eager to assist now and during.
