Ten long years have passed...

Ten years since the calamity known as The Fall - brought about by the rampaging ASIs known as the TITANs - ended...

But where did they go? Why did they vanish?

And perhaps the most important question of all...

 

Are we safe?

 

In the time that have passed since the Fall, many things have happened throughout the Solar System. Alliances and groupings have formed, we have encountered the mysterious Factors, and we have taken our first steps out into the wider Universe via the Pandora Gates. In many ways, we have advanced and continue the development that was already well underway before the Fall. But in many ways, we are also under greater threat than ever before.

While no direct conflict have yet to erupt with the Factors, the possibility definitely exists, and there are even those who would gladly see such an event come to pass, if for no other reason than simple xenophobia. The Exsurgent virus is still out there, capable of infecting and destroying even large habitats in short time. And while we do not know where they went, it is fairly certain that the TITANs were not thoroughly defeated, even though some like to think so. The possibility of their return is an ever present risk that cannot be ignored. But perhaps the greatest threat that remains is transhumanity itself, with our political scheming, our dangerous technological developments, and our capacity for destruction.

But fear not, for there are those who dedicate their lives to neutralizing these risks before they ever become an actual threat. Those who work together, with little support and little recognition, to do what they see as necessary. Those who will step up to take on any challenge that arises, wielding guns and information as equally potent weapons. And now, Sentinel, you have become one of them.

Welcome to my attempt at running a game of Eclipse Phase, a sci-fi RPG where humanity has transcended the limits of the flesh and mind, the term "hell on Earth" has gotten a much more literal meaning, and where habitats exists all across the solar system. It is set in a future where massive technological advances have been made, but also where great and dangerous threats still exists, threatening to end humanity, both from within and without.

I am looking for ~5 players that will take the role of Sentinels, agents of the covert organization known as Firewall. I am not in the habit of taking too much consideration to party composition when selecting my players, so if you want to increase your chances of being selected focus on creating interesting and well-developed characters, rather than trying to fill a "role" that seems lacking.
