London's Burning. A Vampire the Masquerade Game.

I created this modified setting to play in with a friend, and have ran games in it for her for the last two years. It features some canonical characters, Queen Anne, Seneschal Valerius, etc, but most characters are entirely new and given my own spin to ensure that meta knowledge doesn't overly effect things, and to do a take on how the London Camarilla could be quite different than that of say, New York.

It is also in many ways a pushback against the often rather ludicrous lore of V5 and the now upcoming v6. Here the Masquerade is strong, and is brutally upheld. Here Elders enact schemes centuries in the making, and neonates are but unknowing pawns on a board they haven't even yet realised is there.

The Jyhad is ever present, and like it or not, you are all part of it.

This will be a very 'street level' game. Don't expect to diablerize your way to power, to be ousting primogen and princes. This will be about struggle, the beast, what makes you human, and as ever the all consuming call of the blood.

Big things might be going on in the background, but when it comes down to it what matters to you is ensuring you have enough blood to survive, shelter from the sun, and ensuring that you are useful enough that your sire doesn't consider having you replaced.

As an ST, I want characters that are people first and builds second. A Vampire above all else should be a person. A horribly traumatized person no doubt, since being a Vampire isn't fun for anyone involved except the players, but a person all the same.

So if you are interested, please first check the Character Creation rules thread and the FAQ before then looking at the Ranks, Titles, and Organizations page which will give an overview of the positions of the various Clans (and Clanless) within the City, as well as certain notables that you would have heard of as a young Kindred.

When you have done all that, check yourself into the Characters Forum and make yourself a new thread. Feel free to use any character sheet, not just the incredibly basic one I provide.
