Lost Between Fold Gates

For the moment, this is an interest check. Think Star Gate meets Farscape with a little bit of influence from Firefly and The Expanse.

How it started.

You've been hired to infiltrate a cult.  

The members of your team have many skills, some are generic and some a specialized.

This cult leader, going by the name Hecate, killed all her followers. Unbeknownst to her, one survived.  The FBI, while questioning this survivor and investigating the crime, discovered links between this cult and some past cults.  The links implied that the leader had been forming cult groups and killing all the members for hundreds of years.  The links implied she takes something from the followers before killing and burning their bodies. 

Also, some photos were found that claimed to be from 1679, about 150 years before the invention of photography in 1826 or 1827.  When the photos were forensically investigated, they were proved to be real and accurately dated.  And then facial recognition software showed a 98% match to the aforementioned cult leader, Hecate, to one of the people in the photos.

In your investigation of the Cult leader and the subsequent infiltration of the cult, you have discovered that she has been stealing what she calls 'life essence' to prolong her life.  When you confronted her in her private quarters to arrest her, she claims "I am thousands of years old.  And you creatures are nothing more than cattle to me.  I will be doing this for tens of thousands of years after your great grand children are dead, if you live long enough to sire any children."

She flips a switch on a hand held box.  A light on the box starts slowly blinking red.  Just before she drops the box to the floor and smashes it under the heel of her boot, you notice the light had started blinking faster.  "You have 15 seconds. If you run for the door, you might make it out of here before the whole building explodes and burns."

She turns and rips a tapestry off the wall. There is a large safe door on the wall. She begins punching a code into the control panel on the safe door.

What do you do?  
1. Run for the exit?
2. Stand there and wait to see if the building blows up?
3. Chase after her to try to capture her to take with you?
4. Wait for her to open the safe and then follow her in before she can close the door?
