Marvel Prowlers & Paragons
In many ways, our marvel universe resembles our own world, the geography, countries are the same. Same goes with the technology, except people of incredible intelligence enjoy high tech like Reed Richards and Tony Stark.
The presence of super powers is one of the biggest change to our world and many of the super heroes in the marvel universe have to team up to face against the various threat of the universe and sometimes multiverse.
The Avengers in particular is an international super team with a roster that often changes, but the core of the avengers is Thor (Odinson), Iron Man (Tony Stark) and Captain America (Steve Rogers). The Avengers Mansion, their HQ can be found in New York City as well.
The Fantastic Four are one of the original superhero team, formed by Mister Fantastic, the invisible woman, the human torch and the Thing, their HQ is the Baxter Building in NYC. The roster has also changed overtime.
The Guardians of the Galaxy formed by Star-Lord (Peter Quill) , this motley crew of spacefarers work to protect the entire galaxy from cosmic-level threats.
The X-Men , the team of mutant super heroes led by Professor X, original goal was to show that mutants were there to help and not harms but in recent years, Professor X and his former foe, Magneto to form a new mutant-only nation on the floating island of Krakoa. They are currently in the Age of Krakoa, where mutant kind is united.
The Winter Guard is Russia's response to the Avengers and formed of Russian superheroes. Crimson Dynamo currently lead the team.
Beside that, you play heroes in our Marvel Universe.
Hero Creation:
You are creating a character for the Marvel multiverse essentially, on an earth taking cues from some of the more modern changes in Marvel 616 and the multiverse in general. It's not exactly 616 but somewhat close enough, it is my version of the marvel universe.
We will start in New York City, at least this city will be the main hub for your characters. The game won't be limited to NYC but it is where a lot of activities in the marvel universe take place.
It will begin after hearing a disturbance/explosion in downtown city or lower manhattan, as you hear the reports on TV and head there to help people who are danger. Tell me about your superhero!
