Masks - Freshman Year

Green Ridge High - Where good times go to die. Sure there are mysteries to unravel, but none of them will get you a date to prom. You might have superpowers, but they won't help you pass AP English. But hey, it's not all bad news, there is always a chance that a cohort of demons will smash the gym before P.E.

A typical Halcyon City high school. But what kind of high school has a science project due on the first day!?! As if summer reading wasn't enough of a bummer. Still, you have heard that the school might be hiding a few juicy secrets - A cult? Some aliens? Teachers with personalities? Someone said the principle is a badger. Nah, it's probably all crap. To top it all off, the powered kids are social untouchables, something to do with a class last year. You're not even allowed to use powers on the athletic field. So to sum up, academics? - soul crushing. Social life? - zilch. Sports? - forget it.

• Party Size: 4-6 students
• Tone: High high school drama with a dose of humor and comic book weirdness
• Posting Frequency: Eh do what you can. I will try to post every day.
• Character Submission Deadline: March 15th
• Note: I am an experienced GM but this is my first time with Masks and PbtA so don't expect too much we can learn together.

How to Apply

Submit playbooks in the next section, if you need help or want suggestions let me know. It's not recommended to repeat playbooks in the same party. I would caution someone trying Nova or Legacy, there probably won't be many large things to smash, but if you have an idea you want to try I definitely won't say no. Don't bother with the "When our team first came together..." "Relationships" or "Influence" sections. I want to roleplay the first day.
