A Masks: A New Generation game using the Worst Generation and Under the Influence Supplement

Hey folks!

Figured I'm not busy enough in my own life so thought I'd go for making a Masks PbP game. I've run Masks games via Play by Post since the closed Beta so I have a lot of experience with the system and I'm amenable to some third party content: that being The Worst Generation and Under the Influence specifically. If you have something not in either of those I'd need to see it before making any judgement. That's me, so let's talk about what I'm looking for from you.

 

1. A character sheet with Backstory filled out. Relationships, Influence, and When the Team will come after I select a group. If you feel like you have a couple really solid ideas, I'm willing to look at up to 3 submissions per person and will tell you which of them I'm most interested in seeing so you're not left guessing.

2. A group of no more than 5 individuals. I have someone I know is eager to play so if/when they apply they'll be taken, so really I'm looking for four people.

3. Being ok with using Discord. I find using it as an OOC and dice rolling platform speeds things along. There won't be an OOC thread for this game, so Discord is mandatory. The Discord link is here - https://discord.gg/69YnNyU5Tj

4. I will be more inclined to take characters that fit the vibe of the setting. San Fransapporo is a pan-Asian influenced West Coast American city with a more urban fantasy vibe than cyberpunk or tech heavy stuff. That's not to say tech-y characters won't be accepted but keep in mind that the wider themes of the setting aren't geared for that general style. Think of San Fransapporo as Studio Ghibli meets Hellboy with some Kurosawa thrown in for good measure.

5. I'll keep recruitment open until December 3rd or when I'm satisfied with the group I want.
 

With all that said - I do have some playbook restrictions. Some are just "let's avoid" while others will be outright not considered if you make a character with them.
