Night Shift: A MHA One-Shot

GM Leodouble_08 · 1 player

"Night Shift" is a one-shot adventure set in the My Hero Academia universe using the Fate Accelerated Edition system. While I would like those experienced with Fate, it isn't necessary and I am willing to help new players interested in learning. I have played a fair amount of Fate, but Night Shift is my first time being the Game Master, so I hope my players are equally willing to help me when they can.

Premise

The city is under attack.
Every available hero has been called downtown to face a coordinated villain assault. The top pros, your teachers, even the upperclassmen - they're all rushing toward the sound of explosions and chaos. This is the big fight. The one that'll be on every news channel tomorrow.
But you're not going.

Instead, you and a handful of other students have been assigned to Shimura Memorial Hospital on the city's outskirts. It's supposed to be a precaution - someone needs to watch over the patients and civilians while the real battle happens elsewhere. Nothing glamorous. No cameras. No glory. Nightwatch, a veteran support hero known for his impossible schedule and encyclopedic skillset, will supervise. He assures you it's merely a precaution - probably nothing eventful will happen.

He's wrong.

When a villain attack hits the hospital, you're cut off from backup. Communications are jammed. The building is flooding with sedative gas. Mercenaries are breaching the perimeter. And somewhere inside, a protected witness from a major villain trial is the real target. Forty innocent people are counting on you. Critical patients who can't be moved. Hospital staff trapped inside. A building that's becoming more dangerous by the minute.

The pros are busy saving the city.

You have to save everyone here.

Character Creation

Currently I am looking for an addition two to three players for a group of three to four players. You will all be second year students (roughly 16-17 years old) who were accepted into UA Academy and together with your class have worked hard to obtain your Provisional Hero License, allowing you to work with other registered Heroes in the field. I'm searching for those who can work with a group, so please avoid playing the lone wolves, please.

For instruction on how to make your character, look in the Character Creation Guide.

If you need help making your character, look in the Hero Workshop
