OSE Advanced Fantasy Adventure Anthology

Background

Hello, I am Brewermeister. This is my first time GMing in a play-by-post (PBP) format, but I have been GMing various game systems in person for a decade and a half, and playing TTRPGs for longer than that. I only started playing in PBP in November 2025, but I have fallen in love with it.

When we start playing, I plan to post nightly at around midnight Central Time, contingent upon players posting, of course.

I am seeking 3 to 5 players for The Jeweler's Sanctum: A Level 1–3 Dungeon Adventure by Giuseppe Rotondo from Old-School Essentials Adventure Anthology 1, and hopefully continue on to other dungeons within the Adventure Anthologies.

What I Expect from You

• Courtesy

  • Don't be rude

  • Don't discuss real-world religion or politics

• Semi-regular posting

  • A couple times a week (or more if you want!)

  • I'll be checking nightly, but it's not a big deal if you miss a few days.

    • If we're in combat, I will act for you if you have not posted within 48 hours.

    • Feel free to provide a standard combat action so that your character will do that in case you have not posted within the 48 hours.

• Roleplaying

  • Whatever level you feel comfortable with.

    • If you want to explain your character actions in detail and have conversations with other players, be my guest.

    • If you want to just state what your character does plainly, that's perfectly fine, too.

Character Creation

• Starting XP: 0

• Starting HP: Maximum

• Rolling for stats: 4d6 drop the lowest 6 times, then assign to whichever stats you choose

• Races/Classes available: Any from the Old-School Essentials Advanced Fantasy Player's Tome, the Carcass Crawler zines, and/or Dolmenwood Player's Book
