Rust River Rivalries

The Rust River basin is dying. The land and sea no longer provide the bounty they once did. Towns are quiet, homesteads decaying, and tourism is a fading memory.

But life does go on. Families struggle against difficult weather to provide in a time of economic hardship. Even as the old fade away there are those youths who remain, trapped by circumstance in a life that simply does not understand them. Teenagers. Rebellious, curious, afraid and yet somehow unflappable.

And among them, a lesser few who hide an even greater secret than hidden crushes or joints in their sock drawers. Monsters, one and all, moving among those ignorant others who fail to see beneath the surface. Monsters, each struggling against or embracing their own nature. Monsters, but so much more.
