Siege of the Time Mage

GM DM.Mag · 5 players

This is a timing based siege of a castle and underground temple in the far north which leads to a time traveling expedition to right wrongs in present day NY state. Using my classless hack of the Pathfinder 1E system. It will be in 2 parts, one in the medieval past, and one in the present day.

Long ago there was an ancient temple of a chained dragon in the frozen north when the continents were merged into Pangea. Many civilizations have come and gone, falling to newer more bloodthirsty ones and the dragons were hunted to near extinction in the coming millennia. In your current time, year 501 you have been tasked by a King of Dwarves and Elves in an alliance to stop a dangerous ritual which can reshape the world into a playground of a dangerous dragon and its kin in the frozen North.

This task will entail laying siege to a stone bridge that leads to a keep which is multi-level and sits atop an iced over temple to an ancient wyrm dragon. The dragon must be stopped within the next 24 hours before its ritual is completed. Failure to do so, you should attempt to stop the dragon no matter where or how you can. This is imperative as it is a summoner of great power who can summon an army in mere moments if left unchained.

The call went out across the continent for heroes or sell swords and even other dragons to try stopping this dragon from breaking loose and traveling elsewhere. You are one of these who answered the call and are being hailed as heroes as you leave the capital city on your way to the bridge to siege this castle. You are on a clock and must forge ahead without being able to rest. May luck be with you.
