Before the Clone Wars, you served as operatives within Republic Intelligence. You might have been a field spy, a direct‑action specialist, a slicer, a technical expert, or even a Jedi assigned to the agency. Everything changed after a joint operation went wrong, leaving your entire team disgraced and quietly removed from service. As unrest grew with the rise of the Separatist movement—and eventually erupted into full‑scale war—you repurposed your skills and founded an independent freelance intelligence agency. Backed by the deep pockets of a wealthy investor, you began taking contracts from whoever could pay, provided the work wasn’t outright unethical. Now, in the midst of the Clone Wars, your services are in constant demand. Neutral, discreet, and highly capable, you are anything but out of business.

The game is set during the Clone Wars, in 20 BBY, during the galaxy‑spanning conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Most of the campaign will follow the established canon, though I may add or allow elements from Legends at my discretion.

You will be part of a freelance intelligence company that you founded yourselves as co‑owners. The outfit would never have become as successful or prosperous without the support of Maruda Gunta, a former Besalisk bounty hunter turned businessman. He operates several companies specializing in mercenaries, paramilitary services, and security consulting, and now serves as the major investor and shareholder in your agency. Maruda does not interfere with day‑to‑day operations and rarely throws a wrench into your work, but he does occasionally present non‑negotiable requests or refuse funding for projects he considers wasteful. He is fair, but he does not throw credits around carelessly.

Your characters will be seasoned operatives (level 5), with years of field experience and a strong record of success. I am generally reluctant to allow Jedi or Force‑sensitives, but I’m open to strong concepts that justify their place in the outfit. Note that Jedi characters will almost certainly not begin the game with any lightsaber or light‑based weapon. As both disgraced Republic Intelligence agents and disgraced Jedi, you would not have been permitted to keep your lightsaber. If you insist on having one, your character may have built or acquired another, but doing so carries a major stigma. Anyone who learns you possess one—and especially if you use it—will react accordingly. Other Force traditions are unlikely to have served as spies, but if you absolutely want to play one, present a solid, sensible concept and I’ll consider it. Only one character per applicant is allowed, so choose wisely. More details will be provided in the character creation section.

I expect to select 5–6 players, possibly a seventh if I receive too many excellent applications. Final selections should be made around October 10, assuming everything proceeds smoothly. I expect a posting rate of about 3–4 posts per week, with more if the momentum is strong.
