On a world abandoned by the Goa’uld a human civilization flourishes… The players will be in charge of medium sized nation on a world that is currently going through its industrial revolution. Two great empires are building mutually hostile alliances and a great war looms in the near future. Your nation has just gone through a revolution. You are all prominent political and military leaders and together you ended up forming a temporary coalition government. Now you must decide the future of your country, starting with what form of government will you adapt.

Kingdom of Delain has long been in a political and financial crisis and suffering from great economic and social inequalities. The current king, Rodriquez IV, clashed with the parliament, particularly with the House of Commons. At the year 1306, New Era, he decided to suspend the parliament and arrested key political leaders. The discontent quickly grew into open revolt. When most of the military chose to stay in the barracks and ignore orders, the king and his family fled the country.

 

They took refuge in the kingdom of Edfela, south of Delain. Their king, brother-in-law to Rodriquez IV, offered them aid and declared war on Delain. Their forces are mobilizing and invasion is likely in a few months.
