It started with a machine.

The LHC—Layered Harmonics Collider—was the crown jewel of Eebler-Kay Bakery: a towering blend of arcano-mechanics and industrial snacktech, built to “fold flavor across dimensions.” When they turned it on, something impossible came out. Not a bang. Not a scream. Just a low hum—deep, warm, and rising.

Then the transformations began.

People twisted into éclairs mid-step. Metal softened into fondant. Buildings sloughed into spongecake. The air itself thickened with invisible sugar radiation. The Sweetening had begun.

Within 24 hours, Eebler-Kay was gone—absorbed into a growing, layered anomaly. Now, the Zone expands outward in visible rings, like an inverted oven timer counting down to the end of the world. And every hour, the chances of reversing it drop, as more of reality is overwritten by saturated, sentient dessert.

No one knows if the LHC is still running. No one knows if it can be shut off. But the following choices remain:

  • Evacuation Teams: Venture into the outer ring to rescue trapped civilians—before the sugar takes them.
  • Containment Operations: Establish a perimeter, deploy magical dampeners, and slow the spread—if it can be slowed.
  • Infiltration Units: Enter the frosted heart of the Zone and find the LHC’s core—destroy it, or seize whatever power it tapped into.
  • Survivalists: Stock up. Stay mobile. Stay ahead of the frosting line. You’re not saving the world. You’re outliving it.

The world outside is panicking. The government is lying. The elves are missing.

The clock is ticking, and everything it touches turns to cake.
