You have each been hired by Lord Hamireza Goldshani to investigate some strange rumours that are coming from the jungle village of Arakala. The mayor, a lupine known as Traren Mirapeiros, has disappeared. What calls you to the jungles? What will you find? And will you make it out alive?

Welcome to Exilidor, my homebrew setting where I've run many D&D games over my 9 years of DM'ing. I'm looking for 4-5 players to run a low to high level campaign, starting from lv1-20. Is this ambitious for a PBP? Sure. But am I motivated? Definitely.

This will be a character-driven campaign, inspired by jungle adventures. With ancient temples to explore and forgotten civilisations, it will be up to the party to solve a strange mystery going on amongst the trees.

This is my homebrew world, but very little is actually homebrew. I expect core (WOC | 5.5e) classes, though races you can choose from my handy dandy race list that has been updated for 2024.

I'm still in the never-ending process of writing a player guide. I do have a basic one that I wrote...years ago, but if we talk character concepts, I can give you more lore/worldbuilding information. As much as I've had this world for as long as I've been able to write, I'm flexible with changes and adaptations. Though I'm not looking to run an op/power gaming campaign. I want you guys to care about each other's characters as much as your own, so we will be starting a session 0 with discussions about how your characters know each other.

This will all be on the forum, and I expect 3/4 replies a week at minimum. If you are not going to be available, message me, and we'll talk. If you ghost after a week of not replying without notifying me, you'll be kicked out of the game, and a replacement will be sought. I'm not here to let this campaign die, so if you can't commit, please don't bother applying.
