Community-based Choose Your Own Adventure

  • Whenever the GM presents some options, all the participants can vote and influence the flow of the story.

  • I used influence on purpose, because it's not going to be a simple majority vote.

  • Through a simple example: Let's say there are three options to vote on. Options A gets 2 votes, B gets 6 votes, and C gets 1 vote. Square the number of votes, that's going to be the relative chance of each vote. So it's going to be 4:36:1 for A:B:C. Then I'll make the roll publicly, and that will be the chosen option. This way, even a single vote still has a chance, no matter how small, to be the winner.

Setting

The Hyborian Age, where Conan the barbarian had his amazing adventures.
