“The heroes have been betrayed by the caravanserai proprietor and city counselor, Aramis D’Athak, to the cannabalistic cabal that has been preying on travelers for several months. They are currently being dragged through the Zakath Desert to gods know where.”

This is a 3rd edition Hyperborea, formerly Astonishing Swordsmen and Sorcerers of Hyperborea, campaign.

Character Creation

Ability Scores

METHOD III: Roll 4d6 and discard the lowest die roll. Generate six scores using this method. Assign scores to attributes as desired.
Roll the method twice and take the preferred array.

Hit Points - Max hit points levels one and two. Roll twice and take the better result levels 3+.

Starting Experience Points : 3000 XP

Starting Equipment

The armour and clothing listing for your class. If you are a spell caster, your prayer or spell book is missing. Go ahead and write which spells are in your spell book anyway.
Choose which spells you have memorized. Even when you use them up you will be able to renew the same ones the next day with the usual morning rituals.

The PCs are currently captured so the only things they have retained are their worn armor and clothes, which the anthropaghes never bothered to remove.
