Venture City
This is a game set in the Venture City setting of Fate, but with a twist. Mitsuhama Splice Corp, the inventers of the super serum, aren't the only ones producing Supers. Venture City is no stranger to cutting edge tech, but Bluteisen Dream Corp has created true cyber tech by training nanite swarms to fuse with the human nervous system. Driven by a AI, the nanites inside a person can act to aid organs, enhance muscles, or allow the brain to interface directly with data streams. What's more, tech is far more available to the common man than the super serums are. Of course, there is the small side effect of sanity slippage. Then there is the third, hidden element to the city often dismissed as superstition...
The PCs of this story are Ronins. Vigilante Supers not yet claimed by the corps or the gangs. They are nominally heroes, trying to do the right thing in a grey world. To make ends meet, they take on merc work from the local Fixers while growing their power and influence. What's better than saving someone's day and sticking it to the corpos while you do it?
