This game uses a new-to-me application process where recruitment takes place partly in-character and full character builds are created in stages. This process attempts to improve on a situation where players spend a great deal of time on characters only to not have a chance to play them at all. If this doesn't work I may change the process partway through.

Your application thread is considered OOC and we can use it to discuss your character's details as needed. The Questions About Dispatched thread is also available for discussing concepts and the team while you're applying. Remember to read the information under the Game tab first.

Start off by recording just the following information about your character
Post these in your application thread.

SDN location: Windsor, Ontario Canada (default for everyone)

Hero rank: Teen Upstart (default for everyone. This is only applied mechanically - character need not be 19)

Mugshot
Real name
Villain name / street name / alias (if any. Also indicate whether this is widely associated with the real name)
Pronouns
Age (minimum 19)
Nationality: Canadian (default for everyone - others would require a good explanation)
Occupation (p.22-28 in rulebook)

Primary super power (p.52-74 in rulebook)
Primary super power’s source (p.50 in rulebook)

Drawback (p.78-79 in rulebook; normally drawbacks are optional, but in this game all PCs start with at least one. You'll get 1 extra attribute point for it later as usual)
Flaw (p.30 in rulebook)

Criminal record (the Phoenix Program only recruits criminals, so your character is known to have done something notably illegal even if their Occupation is not Criminal)
