  1. Mikhail Razumovsky Wounds: 12/12 Fatigue: 0/4 Ego Barrier: 25/25 Insanity: 0 Mikhail does struggle to answer the question, partly because he has trouble parsing Gary's accent and partly because Zelda is a tough act to follow. He isn't sure whether he could, or should. He settles for this: "I arrived here after the fight, so I only saw the marks it left behind. It's true," he nods at Emiko, "we can't promise that there will be no collateral damage. This is war. All we can do is try to keep the damage to a minimum. We will do our part, but people should remember about the danger and be prepared to get to safety."
  2. Mikhail Razumovsky Wounds: 12/12 Fatigue: 0/4 Ego Barrier: 25/25 Insanity: 0 Mikhail smiled politely and faced the cameras despite the difficulty, though he was still relieved to sit down. He did not hurry to answer, still mulling over the question while he listened to his companions. He had returned Zelda's glance, the look lingering a little longer as he pondered her reply; afterwards, though, he refrained from staring at the others too much, deciding it was better to look straight ahead. This was a battlefield too, of course. Once the other pilots had spoken, it was clearly his turn; Serena needed to go either in the beginning or the end, he realised. So he said, in his unaccented British English: "I felt excited. Like Anya, I have never been outside my country before, but I have heard and read a lot about Great Britain. Both its history and its current situation. Getting to see it for myself is... really valuable to me. I also felt... determined, to do my best here on the frontlines. Like everyone else on my new team, this is what I prepared for," the young man finished with an emphatic nod.
  3. Mikhail Razumovsky Wounds: 12/12 Fatigue: 0/4 Ego Barrier: 25/25 Insanity: 0 Mikhail nods and smiles encouragingly. He doesn't know her as well, but he's sure she would do well. Certainly she had a good head for tactics, based on her comments on the Denver team's fight.
  4. Mikhail Razumovsky Wounds: 12/12 Fatigue: 0/4 Ego Barrier: 25/25 Insanity: 0 Public relations were not part of Mikhail's training. When asked to pick clothes that were "smart" yet reflected his "personality", he went through his limited belongings and soon settled on a plain white button shirt, blue trousers and dress shoes. Not much "personality", but he wasn't sure what that had to do with clothes, except that it meant he couldn't just wear his uniform. At least it ought to fulfill the other requirement. Good thing it was warm down here, too. On site, he was cooperative if absent-minded when not following clear instructions. His eyes followed the helpers' movements closely. He was particularly impressed when they managed to give some semblance of order to his hair, for how ever briefly. He made a mental note to remember how they did that; it may be a useful skill in the future, if this occasion was anything to go by. "What will most people ask?" It seemed like the obvious question, except that the answer may be too long for the time they had now. "Anything in particular we should prepare for?"
  5. I admit I find this pace slightly offputting, the way we keep moving on in mid-conversation. I was still thinking of what to say in response to Serena's earlier question. Though admittedly, I might not have come up with anything too interesting. If everyone else was done with it, I guess it's okay.
  6. Mikhail Razumovsky Wounds: 12/12 Fatigue: 0/4 Ego Barrier: 25/25 Insanity: Privately, Mikhail stands by his initial assessment. During a fight, anyone can make a mistake or get unlucky. The final outcome is what counts... and that was not so bad: all pilots lived, collateral damage was limited, and the Entity was neutralised. But he could see Zelda's and Silver's points. The Denver team was very sloppy. Saying that they were only human would not be very helpful, even though it was true. Certainly he had to do better than that... He was still pondering the Captain's questions, silent and still, when Zelda made him snap out of it with her sudden exclamation. As the meaning of her explanation sinks in, he nods emphatically. He does wonder at the meaning of the girl's strange expression at the end, though. Turning to Serena after her response, he adds: "Svyatogor can be counted on to fight the Entities and only the Entities, even if I am unconscious. If I become oversynched, this would be a useful option to have."
  7. Mikhail Razumovsky Wounds: 12/12 Fatigue: 0/4 Ego Barrier: 25/25 Insanity: 0 Mikhail was pretty quiet throughout this time. There was a lot of information to process, and this workload only increased with their tour. Out in London, he was watchful; not paranoid or jumpy, but attentive. Old damage interested him less than the potential attack or escape routes on the human scale. Even though it added another task to his mental workload, there was no question of ignoring the TV. It was the sort of thing he needed to watch. "That didn't go too badly," he mused at the end. "Is NERV-Denver also expected to try and capture an Entity, or is it just us?" he mused aloud.
  8. Sorry, I lost track of things. If we move forward, that means the end of this session and the interview is next? Or is there something else left? I wanted to talk to Emiko, but no reason it can't be done later, I think. If everyone else wants to move on, that's fine by me.
  9. I've had a very busy week. Will try to catch up and post soonish.
  10. Will we try to engage it in melee or is there a reason to hold off? Would there be a firing into melee penalty against an opponent of this size?
  11. Yeah, take your time. That said, I think I'll hold off on posting for now, since it's kind of important to my thread of thought whether she was recovered en route or from some terrorist hideout. If it's the latter, then 1) we at least know something about a former hideout, which may help us figure out where others might be and 2) we know they had her in their power and did not kill her.
  12. I thought Tsukiko was captured and recaptured? This sounds more like the kidnapping failed and she was injured in the firefight or something. Though maybe I should be asking that in character...
